Due to the nature of my work, this time of year is extremely, extremely busy. No, I'm not a teacher, but you're close.
Everything blog related is on hold until after this weekend.
I will say, though, that this is my multi-species weekend if rains don't flood lakes and make small brooks into roaring rivers. My wife is taking me away for my impending (is that the right word?) birthday. That's right folks, look out, nearly a quarter century.
We're going inside the blueline and my goal for this weekend is, at the very least, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Pike, One Salmonid species (even if its a Cisco, damnit). Hopefully I'll also land my first Perch on the fly as well, but we'll see.
